Many of our clients ask "What is an Sr-22?'

An Sr-22 is for usually for someone that  had a violation that the State of Illinois wants to  keep track of them for a period of time.  Usually they are required for on year but some violations require you to have an SR-22 for threee years.  Types of violations that require an Sr-22 are ; DUI, Multiple tickets in a year, suspensions, Accidents without insurance, and failure to appear in court.

The Sr-22 filing is attached to your driving record with the State and if you decide to not pay for th epolicy, the State is notified by the Insurance Company and they suspend your license.

If you are ever in need of a policy or quote for SR-22, Anderson Insurance Brokers is a great outlet.
